GRIEFSHARE AT GATEWAY CHURCH

Thank you for your interest in our GriefShare class. Our goal at Gateway is to offer GriefShare twice a year: once in the Fall usually beginning in early September running through early November, and again in the Spring usually beginning early February running through early May.

GriefShare offers a safe environment for those walking through one of life's most difficult experiences of losing a loved one through death. The class will help those who are grieving process their feelings of loss, specifically due to death, and work on their personal healing. The class is warm and encouraging using a mix of video-seminars from leading experts, journaling and workbooks, and small group discussions. The most important thing that GriefShare offers is knowing that they are not alone and though they are grieved, there can be peace and joy again.

Each week, Gateway leaders who have personally walked through grief and have previously taken the class help participants better understand the painful hurts and emotions that come with grief and loss. Our goal is to help others move through grief towards the healing and restoration that can occur as an outgrowth of deep loss.
